Leave it to Emmie, age 9 and the oldest member of our PINT SIZE SOCIAL PANEL to give us the skinny on what you will be standing in line for (or overpaying on ebay) this holiday season. Zhu Zhu Pets (pronounced Zoo Zoo) she says, “are really cool and you treat them just like real hamsters. I saw them on a commercial and I love that right now, nobody really has them”. Zhu Zhu Pets, realistic and interactive, are artificially intelligent hamsters that are battery-powered and suitable for age 3 and up. Each hamster has it’s own personality and interacts and plays differently. There are even tons of accessories you can purchase to complete your own hamster habitats. As of now, the $9.99 hamsters are completely sold out with stores (and kids) anxiously waiting their November shipments. And, if these little creatures are going to be as popular as Emmie says, keep your finger on speed dial to score a few for your crew. That Emmie says, is how her Grandma got her hands on some. Rumor has it Amazon.com and Toys “R” Us will be next to receive them.
