I had a baby about 3 months ago, and while I lost a bunch of weight, I am not quite into my old clothes. Do you have any suggestions for a cute outfit that does not revolve around leggings? Thanks!
-- Karen, mom to Isabella, 3 months
Currently enjoying a soft launch, sisters Liz Lange and Jane Wagman have put together a fab shopping site dolling out information to shopoholics. Thus, Shopafrolic was born. Here, they weigh in on Karens question "Invest in a cute belted shirt-dress that cinches in at your waist and covers your trouble spots. As the pounds drop off you can just cinch the belt tighter! We also love a jean mini skirt or skinny jeans worn with a long tank or tee. Top it off with a long Thin cardigan to hide any extra pounds you might be carrying. A common misconception is that in order to hide extra pounds you need to wear a big boxy shirt. NOT TRUE! Form fitting clothing is almost always more flattering and sexier then over-sized. Remember - You don't need to be stick thin to look sexy and chic."
As a busy working mom always on the go, people ask to see pictures of my children (which of course I love). Do you have any suggestions for a quick and easy way to remember to bring them with me?

Darcy Miller, Editorial Director, Martha Stewart Weddings and The Brides Guide Blog, one of the busiest moms we know, says "When I leave for work every morning, I wear a chain with an array of lockets in different shapes and sizes including a vintage oval from my husband Andy and heart lockets from the Paris flea market all filled with photos of my girls. I also love my pendants from Romero designs, where the photo shows through so I can also look down at my daughters without having to open up the lockets."
I really want to start “greening” our lives and just don’t know where to start. What are a few changes I can make that will have the quickest impact?
-- Samantha, mom to Gavin 4 and Oscar 2
We spoke to Christopher Gavigan, CEO and Author of Healthy Child, Healthy World who is probably the darkest shade of green they come. He said “We have a great program to help get folks started, its called "The 5 Easy Steps". We've broken down the 5 areas we think are most important, and then we help get parents started. The 5 Steps are: Manage Pests Safely, Use Non-Toxic Products, Clean-Up Indoor Air, Eat Healthy and Organic, Be Wise with Plastics. Each section has all the information you need, including tips, checklists and options for safer purchases. Parents can feel empowered to tackle each step knowing they have all the resources at hand through Healthy Child. Healthy Child encourages parents to take it one day at a time, one step at a time - our mantra is "No one can do everything but everyone can do something.”
