The Founders of Tada! Shop help our kids get in style this summer

Wouldn’t it be great if you could shop one site for your kids with all of your favorite brands? That is just what Holly Brown and Hadley Peterson thought when they launched Tada! We caught up with them to get their expert take on what to put your kids in this summer:

For a Summer Backyard BBQ:
One of our favorite things about summer is the impromptu bbqs with friends, kids included! We love throw-on-and-go pieces for nights. Get them accessories to dress up anything. For girls, a fun necklace over a white tee and shorts or a sparkly barrette adds a little something extra. For the boys, we love classic oxfords and shorts nice enough to dress up but still comfortable to play in. Color block sandals are another statement this season and a must. You will be surprised how they go with everything and how much kids love them. For a hostess gift, make it all about the kids with the Mouk sticker book that has been flying off the shelves.

For those Long, Hot Summer Days:
For the days spent outdoors, we seek the comfortable clothing that they will want to wear again and again. Get a few pieces you love that they will get excited about. Printed tees are always a hit – make a statement with striking graphics and word tees. Bubble shorts are everywhere this summer combining style and easy movement for girls. And, Bensimon shoes are at the very top of our list as the perfect summer shoe – easy slip-ons and just the enough color to make a look. As for an activity, we are intrigued by the bike revolution (our personal favorite Likabike).

For the Beach:
What is summer without a trip to the beach? Let the kids have some fun with one of the many bold patterned bathing suits or flip flops.  When they need a break from the sun, a light-weight kurta offers extra protection and is oh-so stylish. Sun hats are always a must-have on our list, and we love the sweet prints of Angela Devine. Treat yourself to a new beach towel in a popular color this season like turquoise. And, there is nothing better than this simple big shovel from Haba to entertain the kids for hours at the beach.
