Jessica Seinfeld’s Baby Buggy charity launches line with Target

It’s hard not to be impressed by what Jessica Seinfeld and her Baby Buggy team have accomplished since they so humbly launched in 2001. It was a simple idea, really. Jessica, a newish mom at the time had gently used baby clothing and gear she no longer needed. As did her friends. And their friends. So, she created the perfect vehicle to get these (and over 4 million since then) products into the hands of needy parents throughout New York City. And, as if that weren’t enough, we met up with Jessica last week as she enthusiastically showed off her newest project. A year-long collaboration with Target, creating affordable baby essentials. Think a super-soft and adorable layette designed by Maira Kalman, and diaper bags created by Petunia Pickle Bottom. Launching July 4th, the first collection is limited-edition, starts at $3.99 and get this, ten percent of the purchase price goes right back to Baby Buggy. After meeting with Jessica and seeing the collection, we felt just as excited as she did. And we know you will too.
