One stop shop for you and your little ones
Mother daughter shopping has never looked so good until we discovered Aime & Petit Aime in Notting Hill. Owned by two French-Cambodian sisters, Aime (the adult and original store) sources clothing and homewares from your fave Frenchie designers like APC, Isabel Marant, Les Prairies de Paris and Repettos. It has a lovely white washed French country feel, a charming jewelery selection and is just across the street from the dreamy chocolatier MELT (we’ll save that for story). Next door at Petite Aime, you’ll find exactly what you would expect. Everything you’d want to wear, but made for babies to ten year olds. We found the whole experience to be a dream. Really what could be better, and more life changing, than bonding with your daughter for the first time over French designers with wafts of Jasmine in the air? Nothing, as far as we’re concerned.
p.s. – these two lovely ladies also worked tirelessly to bring APC over to London as a stand alone store, which just launched late 2009 on Dover Street.
