CROSS DRESSING

This Spring it is all about borrowing from the boys

As far as style goes, borrowing from the boys is really nothing new. We’ve been doing it for years. And now, thanks to a loyal fan base, these celebrity-loved boys brands have followed suit and launched girls collections for Spring:

Trunk Ltd – a unisex line, known for their sought-after rock-n-roll vintage tees, just added girls t-shirts in more fitted silhouettes and girlier graphics. Think Madonna circa 1984 or a Beatles Can’t Buy Me Love tee in pink and white. Plus, their new collaboration with DC Comics celebrates 75 years of super heroes with Wonder Woman and Bat Girl tees. Lois Lane would be proud. Available at Tutti Bella.

Tailgate Clothing Company – An absolute favorite brand of ours features super soft I’ve-had-forever tees embellished with Ivy League school graphics now has a girls line, complete with hot pink foil logos in the same smarty pants schools. Available at Tutti Bella.

‘Stun – An offshoot of the Wonderboy line, ‘Stun comes to life where Wonderboy leaves off. Beautiful vibrant colors and modern prints make this new line easy to wear and mix & match. Not to mention, super cute. Available at small CONCEPT.

Ryder & James – One of the hottest newcomers from the West Coast, Ryder & James, originally launched as a super cool boys line has largely expanded due to their popularity and added a vintage-inspired unbelievably chic girls line to the mix. Available at Lil’ Swanky.
