Celebrating Our Moms This Mother’s Day

While we are hoping (just like you!) for a teeny box of something shiny and beautiful to open this Sunday, we couldn’t help but remember our own moms and just how much impact they’ve had (and still do,) on our lives.

So, we asked a few VIP’s,

What inspires you most about your mom?

My mother is a strong, beautiful woman who has also inspired me to follow my dreams and keep grounded. Most of all to never forget my roots.

My mom has the biggest heart. She has taught me that the most important thing in life is to share and care for others. Her generosity and devotion to all her causes is an inspiration. She is a mentor for me and now to my children. I am forever grateful of how she teaches me and my family how to be in the world

My moms strength and faith inspires me most. What she has been through in her life, I could never imagine, yet I’ll never forget. She always showed me, it’s the little things in life we should look to. Lifes a journey, and we are never alone.

It’s not easy raising kids in Los Angeles – especially girls.  My Mom instilled an incredible confidence in both my sister and me that has served us well our whole lives.  I hope to pass that on to my kids.

She inspires me each and every day and always taught us as kids to be individuals and to have integrity. I feel so very blessed to have a mom that was so giving of herself. My mother is the most incredible mother, and even better grandmother. I have no idea how I moved across the country, away from her. Besides being just an incredible mother who would do anything for me and my brother, she taught me values, gratitude, respect, and she gave me the confidence to believe I can succeed at whatever I set my mind to. Above all, I hope I’m half as good a mother as she is!

My mother has been inspiring me my entire life. She has been so supportive and encouraging in every (even crazy) idea that I’ve ever had. But what really gets me, is her ability to live in the moment and her desire to constantly remind me to do so. It is such a great life lesson. And I love her for that. And I love her for a million other things, too.
